Transferring your website to Focalsoft is easy and straightforward. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth transition.
1. Backup Your Current Website Before starting the transfer, make sure to back up all your website files and databases from your current hosting provider.
2. Choose Your Hosting Plan Select a hosting plan that suits your website's needs from our Hosting Plans page.
3. Set Up Your Account Sign up for a new account with Focalsoft. You'll receive an email with your login details and a link to the control panel.
4. Upload Your Website Files Use the File Manager or FTP to upload your website files to our server. Ensure all files are in the correct directories.
5. Import Your Database If your website uses a database, import it using the Database Manager in the control panel. Create a new database and import your backup file.
6. Update DNS Settings Update the DNS settings of your domain to point to Focalsoft's servers. This step may take up to 48 hours to propagate.
7. Test Your Website Once the DNS changes have propagated, test your website to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
