Transferring your domain to Focalsoft is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to transfer your domain.
1. Prepare Your Domain for Transfer
- Unlock Your Domain: Log in to your current registrar’s account and unlock your domain.
- Obtain the Authorization Code (EPP Code): Request the authorization code from your current registrar. This code is required for the transfer.
2. Initiate the Transfer
- Log In to Your Focalsoft Portal: Access the Domain Transfer section.
- Enter Your Domain Name: Enter the domain name you wish to transfer.
- Provide the Authorization Code: Enter the authorization code obtained from your current registrar.
3. Confirm the Transfer You will receive an email to confirm the transfer. Follow the instructions in the email to approve the transfer request. The transfer process typically takes 5-7 days.
4. Update DNS Settings Once the transfer is complete, update your DNS settings in the Domain Management section to point to Focalsoft’s servers if necessary.
